It may be mid-August, but that doesn’t mean the summer is over yet. We’ve compiled a list of London’s best luxury and fashion experiences to indulge in whilst the warm summer days are still upon us.
Where to stay: The Lanesborough
The Lanesborough has recently re-opened following major renovations worth £80 million, and – along with its five stars - now holds the title of being one of the most expensive hotels in London. Overlooking the world famous Hyde Park, the hotel features 93 rooms and suites with extravagant Regency-inspired interiors. As well as there being 23 butlers on hand, guests can dine at Céleste, or have a drink at the Library Bar.

What to see: Audrey Hepburn – Portrait of an Icon
She’s an icon of the silver screen, still incredibly popular to this day. The National Portrait Gallery is offering visitors the chance to explore Audrey Hepburn’s life through a photographic exhibition which includes portraits by influential photographers such as Richard Avedon.
National Portrait Gallery. Entry £10, until 18th October 2015.
Where to shop: Fendi at Harrods
Fendi has opened a pop-up at Harrods in order to celebrate the opening of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the label’s new headquarters in Rome. The retail space in Harrods takes inspiration from the HQ’s architecture, offering shoppers the chance to get their hands on Fendi favourites or to design their own 3D baguette. A luxury and fashion heaven!
Fendi’s pop-up at Harrods runs until 30th August.
Where to eat: Thomas’ at Burberry
It’s become a bit of a trend for fashion labels to open eateries within their stores. The latest to hit London was Thomas’, at the Burberry flagship. Serving anything from lobster and chips to the classic British afternoon tea, it’s the perfect pit stop to restore your energy during a shopping spree.
