Unless the abundance of daffodils, chocolate eggs and bunnies hadn’t caught your attention, you’ll know it’s Easter this weekend. It’s an excuse to relax and feast for four days...all with an added touch of luxury, with some of the following treats.

Like Christmas, Easter is a rare time of year when you’re allowed to eat chocolate guilt-free, so why not make the most of it. Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini has created a trio of beautiful Easter dolls, which come in either dark or milk chocolate and are filled with praline eggs. If dolls aren’t your thing, there is also the bunny, the hen or the traditional egg to choose from. But the question is, are these chocolatey works of art too beautiful to eat?

Easter is never complete without an Easter Egg hunt. Head to the Roof Gardens in Kensington this Sunday, for a Hunt hosted joint with Choccywoccydoodah which could see you win a giant chocolate egg. You can also add a little bit of an adult twist, as the bar will be serving drinks from midday.

For something a little more unusual, Fortnum & Mason have come up with the “Chotch Egg”, which, in their words, is “the world’s first gourmet chocolate scotch egg”. Created by chef Sydney Aldridge the Chotch Egg consists of an egg enveloped in Venison and Valrhona chocolate, before being finished off with a layer of breadcrumbs.

Not a fan of chocolate? No fear. There are plenty of other options. The Fabergé installation may have just come to an end at Harrods, however that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on one of the brand’s iconic eggs. The egg charms are vibrant, colourful and the perfect Easter treat.

Finally, if you fancy escaping for the weekend, head to Le Bristol in Paris. The hotel has teamed up with luxury jewellery brand Piaget, in celebration of the new Possession ring. Pastry chef Laurent Jeannin has created a showstopping Easter egg and there will also be a Easter Egg hunt for children, with the Piaget ring as special prize.

From chocolate eggs to luxurious rings, there should certainly be something for everyone on the cards this Easter...
