Net-a-Porter continues to hold its position as a key player in the luxury job market, as the company expands further. The group is currently hiring for a range of jobs in the luxury retail sector, with the aim of adding to its growing team across the net-a-porter.com, mr-porter.com and theoutnet.com platforms. Jobs advertised include the roles of Corporate Communications Director, Managing Director and Senior Marketing Executive.
 
This recruitment surge is also accompanied by news that Net-A-Porter is currently seeking to expand beyond the offices it has occupied at Westfield for the past four years. The group is looking to find an extra 45, 000 to 60, 000 square feet, according to Drapers.
 
Set up by Natalie Massenet in 2000, the e-commerce site has gone on to become an influential platform in the luxury industry, with a strong global presence. 
Recent appointments include the recruitment of Jane Wynyard, who was formerly at Hearst, in a newly created role as Head of PR. Net-A-Porter’s vice-president of publishing, Tess Macleod-Smith commented “Her appointment is key to helping us ensure Porter and The Edit remain the go-to luxury media brands for strong, stylish, intelligent and adventurous women around the world." The creation of this role is part of a recent focus on strengthening of the editorial side of the company, as well as the luxury e-commerce site.
