Dolce & Gabbana

As usual the Dolce & Gabbana collection was rooted in Sicilian history, but this time, looked towards underlying Spanish elements which have influenced the island’s culture. Red, black and white were the key colours of a collection that was richly embellished with lace, gold and jewels, whilst the Sacred Heart was a recurring symbol throughout. Once again, the Italian duo mastered Sicilian glamour.

Alberta Ferretti

At the Alberta Ferretti show, models dressed in pale tones ranging from nudes to lavender, exuded an English rose appearance. Lace, sheers and silk were adorned with floral details and the collection was given a subtle seventies twist with the injection of denim, tassels and flares. For SS15 Alberta Ferretti, opted for a very romantic version of femininity.

Versace

Pastels were mixed in with Versace’s signature black at the fashion house’s SS15 collection where past and present met. Classic Grecian motifs, including references to Medusa, infused the show before it came to a dazzling finish with glittering Swarovski-studded outfits: the Versace woman is powerful and fearless.

Emporio Armani

For SS15 cornflower blue took centre stage at Emporio Armani. The colour was explored in various forms, particularly through shapes, stripes and metallics, all whilst being offset by white. It resulted in a vibrant collection that radiated the freshness of summer.
