It’s the news everyone had been waiting for…who designed actress Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress?
So far, details had been scarce about the secret marriage ceremony of celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt which took place on the 23rd August. The event was a small-scale affair at Chateau Miraval in France, with around only 20 guests in attendance.
It’s only ten days later that the full details are being revealed, through a joint world exclusive featured in the magazines Hello! and People, which respectively go on sale today and tomorrow.
The cover stories include information about the mysterious wedding dress: whilst Brad Pitt chose to wear a suit he already owned, it emerges that Angelina Jolie donned a bespoke gown by Luigi Massi, master tailor at Italian fashion-house Atelier Versace. Angelina Jolie has previously worn numerous dresses by the luxury label but this particular one was no ordinary wedding gown: the train and veil were embroidered with drawings by the couple’s six of the children, who were all greatly involved in the ceremony.
The ivory floor-length dress was paired with a wedding ring designed by Robert Procop, who had also created her engagement ring and who Jolie had previously collaborated with on a jewellery line.
