The 66th Edition of Emmys took place last night, with the biggest names in television turning out for the occasion.
Besides the anticipation of finding out the winners, all eyes were trained on the red carpet to see which celebrities would make a strong fashion statement.

Despite the final episode airing last autumn, Breaking Bad is still making waves.  The series won the award for Best Drama and scooped up a handful of other prizes, including Anna Gunn being named Best Supporting Actress for her role in the series. The actress took to the red carpet in a blue Jenny Packham gown, accesorised with an Edie Parker clutch and jewellery by Irene Neuwirth.

Red, however, was very much the favourite hue for this year’s Emmys ceremony. January Jones opted for a red Prabal Gurung gown, with a pair Louboutins’ iconic red-soled heels. Sarah Hyland - who stars in Modern Family, the series that took home the award for Best Comedy Series - wore a white and red two-piece outfit by young fashion designer Christian Siriano. It was also the colour of choice for Claire Danes who arrived in a stunning couture Givenchy gown.

The dress that caused the biggest stir? Undoubtedly the Giambattista Valli Couture gown worn by Girls’s Lena Dunham. ‚Äč
