If there’s one country that’s stealing all the attention right now, it’s Brazil. There’s no mystery why that is the case: it’s all because of the FIFA World Cup. So whilst everyone is talking tactics, penalties and overtime, we thought we’d take a look at what Brazil has to offer in terms of fashion.

First up on our shortlist is Patricia Bonaldi. Her collections are a perfect example of elegance and the refined with copious amounts of lace, beading and embroidery in her designs. With her stunning gowns Bonaldi really knows how to celebrate feminine elegance in all it's glory.

Lucas Nascimento may have been adopted by London following studies in the UK, but the designer is Brazilian through and through. Specialising in the technology and shapes of knitwear, he explores the art of knit to achieve sophisticated collections. Forget chunky jumpers, this is 21st century knitwear at its best.

Last but not least there’s Paula Cademartori, a part Brazilian, part Italian designer. After a stint at Versace she set up her eponymous label in 2010, creating beautiful luxury bags. Bright colours, patterns and embellishments are all the key ingredients in her designs, which are finished off with a statement buckle. Combined with a fresh, modern signature style, her pieces are a true celebration of Brazilian colour.
